Common Questions

How long does a Reiki healing last?

Reiki is unique for each individual. Clients often feel the effects of their healing session take shape over a three to six-month window before coming back for additional alignment sessions. Reiki works with where a person is in their awakening journey. A single Reiki healing session is for life, however, what the individual continues to do with their energy system contributes greatly to how long the adjustment lasts.

What should I do after my sessions?

It's best to drink extra water after your session, this helps the body find balance and flush out any toxins that want to shift through the body. You should also limit the intake of alcohol or recreational drugs 24 hr after Reiki, as the energy system is in a delicate state of recalibration. It can also be beneficial to pay attention to thoughts, feelings, memories and dreams for the 7 days around a clearing, as what surfaces are clues to what is being released. Journaling can help make sense of the subtle shifts taking place.

When should I book a follow up sessions?

It depends on what the individual is working on. If you are coming to receive a tune-up on your energy system, a good rule of thumb is to follow a three to six-month window for your follow-up sessions. However, if you are moving through a particular hardship, illness or challenge, booking closer-together sessions are a benefit.  For individuals wanting support, while they move through a challenge, I offer Reiki packages upon request. (6 Reiki sessions for $333)

What does 'by donation' mean?

When a service is offered by donation, it means that there is room for the individual to pay what they can afford.

When you participate in a by donation event, consider allowing yourself to receive all the value you desire and require. Be sure not to set yourself up by determining what you will donate before having the experience, for then you will be assured of receiving exactly the value you have paid for.

Rather, come open and ready to fully receive and experience and then with an open and generous heart, give according to the value you feel you have received and of course within your means.
